    Training · The foundation

You cannot automate a process you do not have.

Before any AI, your team learns how growth actually works, and we design the real processes underneath it. The foundation comes first, on purpose, because everything you put on top inherits its shape.

    The foundation everything sits on

    First, the basics

    What is go-to-market?

Go-to-market is not a marketing plan. It is the system that decides who you sell to, why they should buy, how you reach them, how you price, how you sell, and how you keep them. Marketing and sales are instruments inside it, not the thing itself.

"We run ads and post on LinkedIn" is a tactic. GTM is the strategy those tactics are supposed to serve.

    A GTM strategy decides

    01Who you target (ICP)
    02How you position
    03How you price and package
    04Which channels and motion
    05How you message
    06How you sell
    07What you measure

    What are GTM principles

The things that do not change when the tools do.

    Start from a sharp ICP

Aim at the wrong people and everything downstream misses.

    Positioning before tactics

Decide where you win before you write an ad.

Create demand, not just capture it

Most of your market is not buying yet. Build preference there.

Match the motion to the economics

Contract value and cycle decide what you can afford.

    One source of truth

One dataset, one set of stage definitions, no arguments.

    Speed-to-lead

Minutes beat hours. The first reply usually wins.

    Bowtie, not a leaky funnel

Most of the value comes after the first sale.

    Measure leading indicators

Track what predicts revenue, not just revenue.

The part most people get wrong

There is no one correct GTM. It depends on your economics.

The right motion is a function of your contract value, sales cycle, product complexity and buyer. Copying another company's playbook is how good teams light money on fire. The motion has to be paid for by the deals it wins.

    A $50 / month self-serve tool

    Has to be product-led.

A human rep would burn years of revenue closing one account. So the product has to sell itself: free trial, fast time-to-value, expansion inside the app.

    A $250k enterprise platform

    Has to be sales-led.

Sold to a committee of six to ten people over months, through legal, security and procurement. No self-serve flow replaces that. It needs reps.

Between those two ends sit the motions. The skill is choosing the right one, or the right blend.

    Product-led

    The product sells itself

    Sales-led

    Reps close the deal

    Marketing-led

    Content, paid and events

    Account-based

    One account, one campaign

    Community-led

    The community drives it

    Channel & ecosystem

    How we teach it

Your team learns to reason about it on their own.

Three areas, taught until your team can choose, build and defend their own motion.

    Know the market2

    How the motions fit together

Data feeds outbound and paid. Both feed conversion.

    ICP and targeting logic

Who you sell to, why they buy, who to skip.

    Do the math2

    Pipeline and conversion math

Work back from a revenue target to the activity it takes.

    How to measure what works

Which signals to trust, and which to ignore.

    Run the process2

    Process and SOP design

Turn a motion that works into a written process.

    Review standards

What good looks like, held as volume climbs.

    Speak the same language

Fifty GTM terms, in plain English.

ICP, positioning, the bowtie, PLG, NRR and the rest. The vocabulary behind every principle on this page, organised so your team can argue about the right thing using the same words.

    Open the glossary

    The outcome

A GTM operating system your team understands and owns.

Not a binder that gathers dust. A documented, shared understanding of how growth works at your company: the motion, the math, the standards and the process behind each one. Once that is in place, the team can run it, improve it, and put AI on top without losing the plot.

Process first. AI second. Your team in charge.

    Where this fits

The foundation comes first. Then the rest.

    AI on top

Now put AI on top of it

Once the process is real, your team learns to run AI well on top of it: prompting, tools, MCP and the review standards that keep it honest.

    See AI Fluency

    The benchmark

We teach it because we run it

We run all six services for real clients and built our own software. You learn the process from operators, not from a slide deck.
